Cancellation.

The short version

Cancel any time. The billing stops, your site stays up until the end of the month you've already paid for, and then it comes down. Ask and we'll hand you the files. Your domain was always yours. No exit fee, no last-minute hurdles.

How to cancel

Email hello@siteelixir.com and tell us you'd like to stop. That's it. When the account dashboard ships there'll be a cancel button in there too, but a one-line email is always enough, and a human will confirm it either way.

What happens to the billing

We stop charging you straight away: no further $16, no renewal, no winding-down fee. You keep whatever's left of the month you've already paid for; we don't take any of it back. The money side is set out in full on the Refunds page.

What happens to your site

Your site stays live until the end of the current billing month, so nothing vanishes the moment you cancel. At month-end we take the hosted copy offline. If you'd rather it come down sooner, just say so and we'll do it.

Your files and your domain

The code we built for your site is yours. Ask and we'll send you the files so you can host them wherever you like. Your domain never left your name, so you point it back at your new host whenever you're ready, and your email is never touched in any of this.

If a payment fails

Cancelling is something you choose. A failed payment is different: if a monthly charge can't be collected, we retry it over a few days and email you a link to fix it, and only then does the subscription pause. We never treat a missed charge as a reason to delete your work without telling you.

Changing your mind

Cancelled by accident, or want to come back? Email us and we'll switch the hosting and the changes back on. As long as the files are still with us, picking up where you left off is quick.
