Refunds.
The short version
SiteElixir is $16 a month, billed in advance, and you can cancel any time. When you cancel, the billing stops and your site stays up until the end of the month you've already paid for. We don't refund part of a month, and there's no exit fee. Your files and your domain stay yours.
Billed a month at a time
We charge $16 at the start of each month, for that month's hosting and changes. There's no annual plan, no upfront bundle, and no card on file until you decide to put your redesign live. Because the charge only ever covers the month ahead, there's rarely anything sitting there to refund.
No part-month refunds
If you cancel partway through a month you've paid for, your site keeps running until that month ends, then comes offline. We don't pro-rate the unused days back to you, and we don't charge you anything to leave. You've had the hosting and the changes for the month you paid for; that's the deal, both ways.
When we do refund
If we get the billing wrong, we make it right. A double charge, a charge after you'd already cancelled, or a renewal that shouldn't have gone through gets refunded in full, no questions, as soon as you tell us. Email hello@siteelixir.com and a human will sort it.
The redesign is free
The first redesign costs nothing and takes no card, so there's nothing to refund there either. You only ever pay once you've seen the work and chosen to put it live on your domain.
If a payment fails
If a monthly charge doesn't go through, we retry it over a few days and email you a link to fix it. If it still can't be collected, the subscription simply pauses; we don't keep billing a dead card or charge a fee for the gap. Picking up where you left off is a click away.
Cancelling and your files
